- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had a sleep study performed and was told the doctor would call me after they read the results. I was not called back two weeks later and was told someone would give me a call. I heard nothing. Called back again two weeks later and was told I needed to come in and make an appt to see the doctor. Now that we are in January, I have to meet my copay again and the visit they were supposed to arrange will cost me substantially more. I asked to speak to the office manager as I did not feel I should be charged for the new follow up visit. I asked if they could call me and give me my results. I was told no. I asked for the name and extension of the office manager and was told they 'do not supply the extension for the office manager'. This is unacceptable to hold a patient hostage with their information. They had no problem stating how much I would be liable for the sleep machine, if not returned promptly. I upheld my role as the patient.
